The Gippsland Employment Skills Training – Nursery operates as a vegetable garden and is maintained with the assistance of volunteers and employment program participants.

Participants work on recycling new and old wares transforming into affordable garden beds to grow vegetables for community members. The program also includes the propagation of seeds and seedlings to produce healthy food and plants. Which we use and also distribute throughout the community either as meals, preserved produce or fresh vegetables. The project prides itself on avoiding waste, encouraging recycling, reducing landfill, and welcoming new participants!

We are interested in taking food waste from other local businesses to keep our worms fat and healthy.
